In the first two years after baby born, breast milk is the first intake that baby can consume. However, entering the age of six months, babies can consume additional foods which are complementary foods for breast milk.
At six months old, the baby's digestive tract is growing, so that although baby still needs milk as a source of calories, babies also need additional nutrients that cannot be found in breast milk. These nutrients are needed by babies for the growth process. Thus, in order to fulfill all the daily nutrients that baby needs, moms should know in detail the schedule of MPASI in the following table:

There is no standard procedure in introducing MPASI, but generally what is done is starting from carbohydrates, protein, vegetables, and fruit. Actually there are many MPASI menus that moms can choose according to the MPASI method. Here is one example of a simple menu that Moms can give to little one.
Red Rice Porridge
Ingredients:
Method:
- Cook the red rice until it becomes porridge
- Strain the red rice porridge, then mix it with the breast milk
Fruit Porridge (Avocado)
Ingredients:
- 50 grams of avocado (peel, wash, diced)
- 30 ml of breast milk
Method:
- Blend the avocado without mixing it with water, you can use a blender
- Mix with breast milk
For other fruit porridge menus, moms can also use bananas, papaya, and apples. The method is same as making avocado porridge. Good luck Moms.
